KATHAU, Dec 13: Chairman of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan and former MP, Ch Lal Singh has claimed that popular trend in these elections has remained against the National parties.
While addressing a series of meeting at village Changran, Kokhyal, Airwan, Jarmal, Sumoan, Patyari, Bigwan, Jakhbar and Badal villages of Nagri DDC constituency in favour of Makhani Devi, party candidate for the DDC Nagri constituency, Ch Lal Singh said that the soaring unemployment among youth and resentment among the farmers of the country and border dwellers of Jammu, has proven fatal for many in Jammu region. He said that undemocratic and authoritarian approach of the ruling party in Parliament is rushing and Government is not listening to the farmers and poor people.
Seeking public support for DSSP candidate, Lal Singh said that the only viable option for the people of Jammu region is the DSSP and the empowerment of DSSP would mean empowerment of the people. “The real agenda of the DSSP is Jammu as separate State and we will go to any level to achieve this” he retreated.
Ch Lal Singh urged the people of Jammu province to give the befitting reply to the Kashmiri centric politicians. He lambasted the self styled leadership of Jammu who always sold the interest of Jammu for the political consideration and the present leadership, both in Jammu and in New Delhi has broken all records. He said that the people of the Jammu are fed up with the hollow slogans of the nationalist parties and they will definitely vote in favour of DSSP because Jammu has got only Toll Plaza’s, 2G and unemployment in the last couple of years.
Dr Hari Dutta Shishu, general secretary while addressing the gathering said that non restoration of mobile 4G services which is affecting the students for the last one year has not been taken care by the ruling Government and the ban on 4G has been extended in Jammu without any reason. The people of Jammu are paying the price of 4G and getting only 2G in turn. The so called leaders of Jammu have failed to make the Centre understand that entire Jammu people always stand with nationalist forces.
Prof HR Sharma, Anil Singh, Danny Andotra and MC Naresh Singh also accompanied the team.
