BHADARWAH, Oct 31: Third floor of a residential house in Banjla village of Bhadarwah area in the mountainous Doda district today suffered massive damage in an incident of fire and all the things kept there were burnt.
Immediately after knowing about the fire incident, locals of the area along with cops started operation to douse the flames and after strenuous efforts the fire was put off.
The house belonged to Pritam Singh, son of Late Ram Krishan Singh.
Preliminary reports suggest that the fire may have been caused by fireworks used during Diwali celebrations. Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
However, no injuries to anyone and no loss of life was reported in the fire incident.
