Post abrogation of Art 370, J&K witnessed unprecedented peace, development: Kavinder

JAMMU, Feb 26: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today claimed that post the abrogation of Article 370, J&K region has witnessed unprecedented peace, development and a secure environment conducive to economic and social progress.
Kavinder was addressing to media persons after offering prayers at several temples in the Gandhi Nagar constituency on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri in Jammu.
He reaffirmed that normalcy has been fully restored in Kashmir, attributing this transformation to the decisive policies of the Modi Government.
“The fear-driven narrative that once gripped Kashmir has been replaced by a renewed sense of stability, paving the way for large-scale investments and an improved quality of life for its residents,” he said.
Kavinder lauded the Central Government for extending the package of concessions and incentives for Central Government employees serving in Kashmir for another three years.
Terming it a significant step, he said such measures would enhance the welfare and security of employees posted in the region while strengthening governance and administrative efficiency.
“The Central Government has once again demonstrated its dedication to the people of Jammu and Kashmir by ensuring that the employees working in the Valley receive the necessary financial and logistical support. This decision will further instill confidence among government servants and reaffirm the government’s resolve to strengthen governance in the region,” he said and added that the Modi Government has always prioritized the interests of employees and citizens in Jammu and Kashmir.
Extending his greetings on Maha Shivratri, the BJP leader prayed for peace, prosperity and the well-being of all citizens.
