Post Udhampur attack, J&K CM reviews security

JAMMU :  Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today reviewed security post Udhampur attack and ahead of Independence Day here.
“The Chief Minister this morning arrived here and chaired a high level meeting to review an overall security scenario in the region in the wake of August 5 Udhampur militant attack in which two BSF personnel and a militant was killed and another arrested alive,” reliable sources here today said. They said the Chief Minister directed the security agencies to be alert and maintain vigil especially along borders in view of Independence Day.
Sources further said security and project status meeting was chaired by Mr Sayeed at his residence in which Dy CM Dr Nirmal Singh, DGP J&K K Rajindera, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, All DC’s and district SSP’s of Jammu province and civil administration heads participated. (AGENCIES)
