JAMMU, Apr 3: The Department of Posts is conducting the Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant Exam on May 19, 2013 in Jammu and Kashmir.
This was announced by John Samuel Chief Postmaster General, Jammu and Kashmir. He informed that those candidates who had applied for the post of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistants will start receiving the Admit Cards from next week onwards.
The Chief PMG also informed that the departmental exam for the Postmen/MTS (Multi Tasking Staff) is being held on April 7, 14 and 21 and results will be declared on the same day.
The department after six years has initiated the fresh recruiting process for the filling of posts of Postmen and MTS and public will be informed through recruitment notification next month.
