SRINAGAR, Oct 15: A Postmen rally was organized from Srinagar GPO Complex to Press Enclave here. The motto behind the rally was to make people aware about the changing face of Postal Services in Jammu and Kashmir. Postmen from Srinagar GPO and other Post Offices of the city participated with great fervor and joy. The Postmen were dressed in full uniforms and wore name plates.
During the rally the Postmen carried placards and banners depicting the Postal Services offered. The rally concluded at Srinagar GPO Complex which was followed by a brief program to mark the close of Postal Week Celebration. N D Prajapati, Senior Superintendent of Post Office, Srinagar Division addressed the gathering and threw light on the achievements of the Jammu and Kashmir Postal circle in recent times.
