Poswal takes up tribal community issues with Oram

JAMMU, Apr 10: National Executive Member, ST Morcha BJP Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal met Jual Oram, Minister for Tribal Affairs and discussed various issues related to tribal community of J&K.
Poswal demanded that the benefits of all central schemes should reach the tribal community of the State. He stressed the need for timely utilization and release of funds for the department.
He said that the Tribal Affairs Ministry of J&K should address the concern of Gujjar Bakarwal of the State. He also demanded setting up of small scale industries in tribal area of the State.
He urged the Minister to ensure the implementation of Maharashtra model in J&K in which the powers are delegated to District Tribal Welfare Officer.
Minister assured all central assistance to the tribal community of J&K. He added that the ministry will give loan facilities to those who are willing to set up small unit in tribal areas to ensure more employment opportunity to tribal youth.
