NEW DELHI, Nov 21: Potato prices weakened by Rs 3.60 to Rs 720.60 per quintal in futures trade today on supplies in the spot market against lower demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, potato for delivery in May month declined by Rs 3.60, or 0.50 per cent to Rs 720.60 per quintal in single lot.
Likewise, the potato for delivery in March contract traded lower by Rs 2.30, or 0.31 per cent to Rs 735.10 per quintal in 3 lots.
Market analysts said increased supplies from producing belts against low demand mainly kept pressure on potato futures. (PTI)
