Power crisis in Industrial complex

It is unjust and highly undesirable that the Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex contributes Rs 140 crore annually to the power supply to the industrial units and if the department spends just one percent of the revenue for the repair and maintenance of power stations, the same can be easily recovered supplying the Power on regular basis. In a recent meeting of the BBIA, the members expressed great disappointment and anger against the PDD for failing to provide the industrial units 24×7 power supplies.
This is not the first time that the BBIA has recorded its displeasure for recurring shut downs and power stoppage because it harms the production capacity of the units and creates so many other problems. On contacting PDD authorities, the industrialists were told that power tripping had become essential because the transformers become heated and need to be cooled down. If the PDD has made a commitment that it would supply power uninterruptedly to the industrial areas and units then it should stand by its promise and commitment. We cannot allow our industries to suffer regular shut downs leading to reduction in production of finished products. That is economic damage to the entire society.
