Power Grid organises blood donation, free eye camp

SRINAGAR, Apr 2: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited organized a blood donation and free eye testing camp at 132/33 KV GIS Khaniyar (Bagh-i- Ali Mardhan Khan) Sub-Station today.
The camp was organized as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. On the request of Power Grid, Medical Superintendent JLNM, Rainawari Hospital deputed a team of doctors and paramedic staff for this camp. The blood points collected in the camp were handed over to the hospital for use of needy patients.
The eye testing facility attracted lot of people . More than 100 free spectacles were provided in this eye testing camp to the needy patients. Senior officers from Power Grid, Health department J&K were among the dignitaries present in the camp.
A large number of local people were benefitted from this camp. The beneficiaries and the local authorities thanked Power Grid for organizing the camps.
