JAMMU, Dec 21: All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) has said that after the strike was called off by the Power employees last midnight, electricity supply has been restored to almost all the areas of J&K UT by this evening.
V K Gupta, spokesperson AIPEF and Sachin Tikoo convenor, JKPEECC said that following agreement between the Government and the representatives of striking employees, all the PDD workers and employees today resumed their duties and launched power restoration operation in big way.
They said that UT Administration in a written agreement has accepted all the four main demands of the employees. They extended gratitude to the All India Power Engineers Federation chairman, Shailender Dubey for joining agitation and rendering support to their cause.
