JAMMU, June 7: In order to carry out the work of fixing of short members on towers from dismantled material on 132 KV D/C Rajouri-Draba transmission line, the power supply to district Poonch will remain affected on June 8, 2014 from 9 a m to 3 p m.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the urgent repairing works on 66 KV Samba-Ghagwal line emanating from 132/66 KV, 2×50 MVA Grid Station Samba, the shutdown of 66 KV Samba-Ghagwal line has been allowed on June 8, 2014 from 7 a m to 10 a m.
The areas which will be affected due to shutdown are Niehta, Ghagwal, Samba, Rajpura and Sherpur etc and their adjoining areas.
Similarly, in order to carry out the work of replacing the damaged CT and to carry out other allied maintenance works at 132/66 KV Grid Station Kathua and on 132 KV D/C Hiranagar-Kathua transmission line, the power supply to Kathua, Hatli village, industrial area, Nagri, Palli, Barnoti and Nanan will remain affected on June 8, 2014 from 7 a m to 11 a m.
