JAMMU, Nov 27: In order to carry out the work of shifting of tower No. 62 for four laning of Chenani to Nashri of NH-IA including 9 km long tunnel project work, the shutdown of 132 KV Udhampur-Kishtwar Transmission line would be done on alternate days i.e. on 28-11-2013, 30-11-2013, 02-12-2013 and 04-12-2013 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
During the shut down period power supply to Doda and Kishtwar Districts will remain affected.
Similarly in order to carry out replacement of damaged tower leg and X-arms of location No. DM1 near Digdol of 132 KV D/C Chenani-Srinagar Transmission line (CSTL), the shutdown of 132 KV D/C CSTL (Circuit-I & II), for 15 days with effect from 28-11-2013 to 12-12-2013 would be done.
As intimated by the Chief Engineer, System and Operation Wing, Jammu, during the shut down period of Ramban-Tethar Section of 132 KV CSTL, the power supply to Grid Station Tethar will be supplied from 220/132/33 KV Grid Sub Station Mir Bazar.
