JAMMU, Mar 14: In order to carry out the work of connecting of existing bus-bar with new erected bus bar of 33 KV new line bay besides erection of jumpers/droppers and laying and stringing of earth wire in 33 KV new line bay at 132/33 KV Grid station Gangyal, the shutdown of 50 MVA, 132/33 KV Grid Station Gangyal on March 15 from 7 am to 1 am has been allowed.
As intimated by the Chief Engineer, S&O Wing Jammu, during the shut down period the power supply to the areas i.e Gangyal Industrial Complex, Trikuta Nagar, Greater Kailash, Preet Nagar, seora, Babliana, Miransahib and their adjoining areas will remain affected.
Similarly, in order to carry out urgent work of rectification of hot spots and preventive maintenance by way of tightening and repair/replacement of the worn-out jumpers, droppers and clamps etc of 220/132/66 KV bays at Grid station Hiranagar, the shutdown of 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KV grid Station, Hiranagar including 220 KV Sarna-Hiranagar and Hiranagar-Gladni Transmission lines along with 132 KV Hirangar Sewa-II D/C Transmission line on March 15 from 9 am to 2 pm has been allowed.
As intimated by the Chief Engineer, S&O Wing Jammu during the above shut down period the power supply to the areas i.e Bari-Brahamna, Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Bishnah, Billawar and Mahanpur including industrial areas will remain affected.
