JAMMU, Apr 15: In order to carry out dismantling of existing 33 KV LA Structures at Burmal Sub Station, the power supply to Burmal and its adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Akhnoor-Jourian line will remain affected on April 17, 2015 from 9 am to 12 noon.
Similarly, in order to carry out urgent work of 220 KV Salal-Jammu 2 feeder and bus B of Salal Power Station, their will be shut down of Salal-Jammu 2 feeder and bus B on April 17, 2015 from 9 am to 5 pm.
During the shut down, the power supply to Jammu-Rajouri and Poonch districts will be affected. Accordingly, there will be shortage of power supply of about 50-70 MWs resulting in rotational curtailment in Jammu, Poonch and Rajouri districts.
