JAMMU July 24: In order to carry out emergent flushing of reservoir at Salal Power Station Jyotipuran Reasi, the shutdown of Salal Power Station on July 26 and 27 has been allowed.
There will be shortage of power in the schedule of J&K which would be met by rotational curtailment.
Meanwhile, to carry out the rectification of faults and preventive maintenance of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Ramban, the shutdown of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Ramban and 220 KV D/C KPTL (CKT-I) on 26.7.2015 from 9 am to 4 pm would be observed.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to entire Ramban district including BHEP Batote and Assar will remain affected.
