JAMMU, Oct 11: In order to carry out replacement/thickening of 11 KV conductor from Poonch House to Panjtirthi, the power supply to the Poonch House, Government Quarters Complex, Dhounthly, Panjtrithi & Chogwan Salathia areas fed from 11 KV D-2 feeder emanating from 33/11 KV Receiving Station, Dhounthly will remain affected on 12-10-2012 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, in order to complete the work of twinning of 132 KV and 33 KV bay for new 50 MVA, 132/33 KV power Transformer at 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Gladni, the shutdown of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Gladni on 14-10-2012 and 15-10-2012 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. has been allowed.
During the shutdown period the power supply to the areas of Gandhi Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, part of Old Jammu city, Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, Bathindi, Narwal etc and areas fed from Grid Station Janipur and Sidhra will be affected.
