JAMMU, July 27: To carry out emergency branch cutting and replacement of worn-out jumpers of 33 KV Barn-Jagti line, the shutdown of 33 KV Barn-Jagti line is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Jagti, Nagrota, PHE, Migrant Colony, Bamyal, Kattal Batal, Sainik School and adjoining areas will remain affected on July 29 from 9 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, to execute work for replacement of 33 KV loose/worn out jumpers/droppers, clamps alongwith replacement of old circuit breaker, the shutdown of 33 KV incomer emanating from 132/33/11 KV Grid Station Bari-Brahmana (BB-I) is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Vijaypur, Smailpur, Kartholi, Jakh, Part of Greater Kailash, Bari-Brahmana and Birpur Complex will remain affected on July 29 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out work for cutting of trees alongwith Jammu-Akhnoor Road, the shutdown of 11 KV C-19 and C-22 feeders is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Shakti Nagar, Mohinder Nagar, Patel Nagar, Garden Avenue and PHE will remain affected on July 28 and 29 from 6 am to 10 am.
