JAMMU, Sept 10: Chief Engineer, (Distribution) JPDCL, Jammu has informed that to carry out erection of poles, the shutdown of 33KV Lines is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Kullian, Badyal, Simbal, Rangpur Maulan and adjoining areas will remain affected on September 11 and 15 from 8 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to Sunderpur, R.S. Pura, Chakroi, Satrayian and adjoining areas will remain affected on September 12 and 14 from 8 am to 2 pm.
Likewise, for Branch cutting/corridor clearance and replacement of worn out jumpers along with its tightening, the power supply to Grid Station Canal, Pounichak, Katra, Rajouri, Draba, Jourian & Barn shall remain OFF. The areas affected shall be District Reasi, District Rajouri, District Poonch and part of District Jammu will remain affected on September 12 from 7 am to 11 am.
Meanwhile, according to Superintending Engineer, O&M Circle, Jammu JPDCL, to execute work of new HT pole erection & conductor stringing and creation of new substations by M/s Reliance Electric Works, the shutdown of 11 KV feeders is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Muthi Maira, Jourian, Sohal, Burmal, Bhalwal Brahmana, Sohal Bhalwal and its adjoining areas will remain affected on September 11, 12, 13 and 14 from 7 am to 11 am.
Similarly, to carry out painting of ST pole, the power supply to Satwari and its adjoining areas will remain affected on September 11 from 7 am to 11 am.
Likewise, to execute preventive maintenance works, the power supply to High Court Complex and its adjoining areas will remain affected on September 13 from 8 am to 1 pm.
