JAMMU, Oct 25: In order to interconnect the line at Kalakot Grid Station, the power supply to twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch from 132 KV Gladni-Kalakot transmission line will remain affected on October 28, 2013 from 10 a m to 4 p m.
Similarly, to carry out works of checking the hot spots and tightening/replacing loose/worn out jumpers/droppers of 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Gladni, a shut down will be observed on October 27, 2012 in various areas of Jammu, Poonch and Rajouri districts.
During the shut down, the power supply to areas like Old Jammu city, Gandhi Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Channi Himmat, Narwal, Sainik Colony etc twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch and the areas being fed from Grid Station Sidhra, Miran Sahib, Gangyal, Bari Barhmana, Jammu and Sidhra I & II in Jammu fed from 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Gladni will remain affected on October 27, 2013 from 7 a m to 12 noon. The supply will also remain affected in Poonch and Rajouri districts, being fed from 132 KV S/C Gladni Kalakot Transmission line, on October 27, 2013 from 7 a m to 1 p m.
The shutdown will be subject to fair weather condition.
