JAMMU, Feb 24: A delegation of Paddar Pahari Development Forum (PPDF) led by chairman, Pahari Development Forum (PDF), district Kishtwar, today met Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ganai, and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
The delegation discussed various problems being faced by the hilly and snow bound area of Paddar with the Advisor and demanded release of scholarship from labour department, functioning of tehsil Social Welfare Officers’ office at Paddar, inclusion of Sub-Division Paddar in Pahari Board and restart of various schemes of PHE department lying defunct.
The demands like upgradation of Sub-Division and opening of new anganwari centers were also taken up with the Advisor, who gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured to fulfill their demands on priority basis.
Jia Lal, Amar Singh, Gurdesh Kumar, Mohinder Rana, Krishan Sharma and Jaswant Singh were also part of the delegation.
