JAMMU, Dec 3: Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) here today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Shakti Gupta and discussed the demands of all cadre of the department.
Addressing the meeting Shakti Gupta said that daily wagers struggling for the last 20-25 years for their regularization should be regularized in various Corporations of Power Department without any delay.
The Union leader urged upon the Government to conduct Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Tech-III as these employees were ignored even a single promotion for the last more than 25 years.
He claimed that many of them have been retired now. The Union urged MD JPDCL Jammu for early conduct of DPC of all cadres without any further delay so that the posts may be kept vacant for regularization of daily wagers.
Anay Gupta, Bharat Bhushan, Ram Lal, Kumad Sharma, Suchat Singh, district president Kathua and Radhey Shyam were also present in the meeting.
