JAMMU, Mar 15: Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU), Jammu and JK Power Sector Pensioners’ Forum (JKPSPF) has urged upon convener of Division level promotion committees’ of Jammu and Kashmir provinces and other Chief Engineers of PDD/PDC for uniform implementation of SRO 59.
The issue was highlighted in a joint sitting of PPEU and JKPSPF held here today. The participants including Shakti Gupta, Sanjeev Bali, Ghulam Ahmed Shah, Ajaz Kazmi, Manjit Singh, GH Hassan Kulgami and Mohd Amin Khan expressed grave concern over unlawful tactics, unnecessary delaying and discriminatory policies of some Chief Engineers, who are paying deaf ears towards Government and Court orders in setting service matters of deserving pensioners and are implementing the SRO 59 on pick and choose basis leaving the SRO aside.
The participants stressed upon the Managing Director, PDC and Development Commissioner, Power, for adopting uniform policy in the Power Sector to avoid the apprehended differences created by partial implementation of the SRO 59.
