PPEU, PEEU support JKEEGA’s power shut down strike

JAMMU, Aug 22: Provincial Power Employees Union (PPEU) has supported the power shut down strike in entire State on August 28 by the J&K Electrical Engineering Graduates Association.
In a meeting of the JKEEGA and PPEU members, held under the leadership of Neeraj Sharma  ( Gen Secy-JKEEGA) and PPEU chairman Shakti Gupta today,  the major issues of the electrical engineers pending since long were discussed. The PPEU leadership fully supported the power shut down strike of the Graduate Electrical engineers   on August 28, 2017 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Meanwhile, Provincial Electrical Employees Union (PEEU) led by PC Sharma (president) has also supported the August 28 strike of the Graduate electrical engineers in support of their long pending demands  with regard to assured career progression, running pay grade, restructuring of electrical engineering services etc.
