BARAMULLA, Feb 12: Principal Secretary, Power Development Department, Sundeep Kumar Nayak today visited district Baramulla. During the visit, he inspected Grid Station Delina and took a comprehensive review of electricity situation in the district.
Later, the Principal Secretary addressed a Press Conference along with District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Chief Engineers and Executive Engineers of PDD. He gave a brief account of his visit to the district.
On the occasion, the Principal Secretary said that instead of meagre power generation in winter season, the Government has taken various steps to ensure adequate supply of electricity to the consumers. He said that Government is committed to provide uninterrupted power supply to the people of the State.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla also provided a vivid picture of the situation of electricity in the district. He said that the machinery has already been geared and men have been instructed to be vigilant and ensure smooth supply of electricity to the local consumers.
