JAMMU, Apr 30: Prabhandak Committee Kheer Bhawani Asthapan Manzgam , Kulgam in its meeting here, today held under the presidentship of Kuldeep Raina took various steps for development of this ancient shrine of Kashmiri Pandits.
The meting said that the Pranali was recovered from the debris from an adjacent shrine at Manzgam by the Muslim brethren who handed over it to the Committee.
He said this has necessitated construction of a Shiva temple in the area and the Committee has started the process for the same. The temple has been constructed and on Puranmashi falling on May 4 the Pran Prateshta of Lord Shiva will be performed in the temple. He said the Lord Shiva Temple will remain part of Mata Kheer Bhawani temple.
He said annual Hawan on the occasion of Zeeth Ashtami will be performed on May 26 and the arrangements in this regard were discussed with district administration Kulgam.
The meeting among others was attended by Moti Lal Raina, Avtar Krishan Raina, Dr A K Koul, Anil Bhat, Arvind Padroo, Arvind Kaw, Ravi Raina, Sunil Raina and Sanjay Raina.
