JAMMU, Jan 6: In connection with the Prakash Purab of 10th Guru ” Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji ” Gurupurab celebration was held under banner of Panthak Talmal Sangathan, along with various Sikh organisations at Gurudwara Yadgar Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Chand Nagar, here on Tuesday.
A large number of Sikh devotes and others offered prayers. A Ragi Jatha of Mohinder Singh Khalsa from Jammu, Pracharak, Bibi Pawandeep Kour of Guru Granth Sahib Ji Study Circle, Jammu and S Sukhjeet Singh from Kapurthala, Punjab, recited Kirtan and highlighted the teachings of Tenth Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
It was impressed upon all the Sikh sangat to celebrate all the Gurpurabs and religious occasions as per Mool Nanakshai calender 2003, which was released from Sri Akal Takhat, Amritsar in 2003 in presence of Sarbat Khalsa. Prominent among those present included Harjinder Singh Ex- presidet SAD and Surjeet Singh, convener, Panthak Talmal Sangthan, J&K.
