JAMMU, June 29: Following the all SOPs and guidelines regarding COVID-19 pandemic, Bhagat Mahasabha here today celebrated 623rd Prakash Utsav of revolutionary Sant Kabir Dass Ji.
Only prominent persons from different social groups participated in the function.
The programme started with garlanding the portrait of Sant Kabir Dass Ji followed by recitation of devotional songs by Swami Milkhi Ram Bhagat Gorday Walay.
Prof. Raj Kumar Bhagat, national president of Bhagat Mahasabha came from Punjab to attend the function.
Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted achievement of the Sabha.
Bodh Raj Bhagat, national vice president also spoke on the occasion and demanded gazetted holiday on Kabir Jayanti in J&K.
Mahinder Bhagat, State president demanded restoration of reservation in promotions in J&K.
Pawan Bhagat also spoke on the occasion while the function was attended by Prof. G.L Thapa, working president JKRCEA; Madan Chalotra, State co-ordinator Apni Party; Ravinder Bhagat, Sansar Chand, Jai Bhagat, Tarsem Lal, Sushil Bhagat, Rupali Devi, Sunesh Bhagat, Darshan Bhagat and Kala Bhagat.
At the end of the programme Guru Ka Langar was served.
Publicity Secretary, Naresh Bhagat was also present in the function.
