KARGIL, July 7: As part of the Indian Army’s celebrations of the 25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a program was organized today at Manmann Top of Dras area during which a documentary on the Kargil War was screened.
The event was attended by students from various schools in Dras, providing them with an opportunity to learn about the historic victory of the 1999 Kargil War. The program enhanced the students’ understanding of this significant chapter in India’s history.
Speaking on the occasion, prominent social activist and sports promoter from Ladakh, Mohd Amin Polo noted that in honor of the 25th anniversary, events have been organized over the past two months, with this year’s celebrations reaching a grand scale. He emphasized that the youth are the primary focus of these celebrations, aiming to instill a sense of patriotism and appreciation for the sacrifices made during the Kargil War.
The 25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas is marked by numerous events designed to honor the bravery and sacrifices of the soldiers who fought in the Kargil War, ensuring that their legacy continues to inspire future generations.
