JAMMU, Dec 11: Preeti Sapru a renowned cine star today campaigned for BJP candidate from Raipur Damana, Bali Bhagat by addressing a massive public meeting at Sua No 1 in Damana area.
She was accompanied by BJP candidate Bali Bhagat,  Party’s OBC  Cell president Brahmjyot Singh alias Situ and BJP leader and former corporator, Omi Khajuria.
Addressing the meeting she appealed people to vote for BJP by making its Mission 44+ a success to give a clean Government to the State and free it from corrupt elements.
Highlighting the policies and programmes of BJP Government at Delhi led by Narendera Modi she said not only the prices have stabilized in last six months but India’s prestige has also increased before comity of nations.
Preeti Sapru said BJP is all set to form the next Government in the State as people are fed up with the misgovernance of over 65 years and want development of the State. She said the J&K is lagging other states of country in the field of development and the 25 year long turmoil has been cause of wrong policies of the Congress and NC governments.
Cautioning people against deceitful politics of Congress party, Bali Bhagat said that Congress has brazenly propagated divisive politics to befool the innocent people.
Later addressing impressive rally of Gujjars in Kangar area of Raipur-Domana Assembly Segment, Bali Bhagat regretted instead of speaking about his achievements during his tenure as Minister, the Congress candidate has indulged into cheap politics of local and outsider to hide his failures.  “I challenged Congress candidate to highlight even a single achievements during his tenure as Cabinet Minister in the previous Congress-PDP government”, Mr Bali said and informed the Congress candidate that every citizen of J&K has a right to contest elections from any part of the State. “A number of Congress leaders have earlier contested elections from areas which are not their birth places”, he said and dared his Congress rival to debate with him on the issue of development.
