Preparations for World Sanskrit Day program finalized

JAMMU, July 26: In connection with the World Sanskrit Day celebrations to be held on August 7 at Majestic Grand, Resort, Purkhu, Misriwala, Jammu, members of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust today finalized arrangements for safety, health care and sanitation.
Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha will address the Sanskrit lovers at the celebration function on August 07.
The organizer of the program, Mahant Rohit Shastri, head of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust, said that Sanskrit language is a golden part of our rich culture and we should give our due contribution in the celebration of Sanskrit Diwas so that ancient language may flourish.
Former Minister Sham Lal Sharma, who is the key player in organizing the event, said that Sanskrit language is an integral part of Indian culture. “This language is considered as revered as Devvani. The amalgamation of melodious sound and splendid words makes Sanskrit language revered not only in India but all over the world,” he said.
On this occasion, members of the organizing committee, Director Agriculture Department, Jammu K K Sharma, R K Chhibber, Board of Directors of Jammu and Kashmir Bank; Rakesh Singh, Ashok Singh, Subhash Sharma, Advocate Pawan Khajuria, Rakesh Gandotra, Pandit Dev Dutt Shastri, Ankush Sharma, Dr Sanjay Sharma, Anil Padha, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Master Raj Kumar, Nigam Gupta, Pramod Sharma, Rajinder Seth, Jagdev Singh Chib, Ankush Sharma, Manmohan Singh Jamwal, Ajay Sharma,Pawan Raina, Vijay Seth, Uttam Chand Sharma, Somil Abrol and other members of the Trust were present.
