Srinagar, Dec 22: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) today directed all the officers across Kashmir to ensure that the salary bills of all the employees are prepared well before the 24th of every month to avoid delay in the disbursal of salaries.
In this regard, the Chief Accounts Officer (CAO), KPDCL has asked Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, Chief Engineer, Planning & Procurement, Chief Engineer, Projects, all Superintending Engineers (SEs), Executive Engineers, CEO, IT & Communication Division, Bemina including others to adhere to the directives issued.
“I am directed to convey you that the salary bills of all the employees of your office shall be prepared before 24th of every month and it shall be ensured that the requisition for salary, Govt contribution and wages outsourcing for every month is submitted to this officer before 25th of every month so that salary and wages are credited to employees in time,” the communication issued here reads.
CAO has also stated that it shall be ensured that once funds are credited to the official account, they shall be credited to the individual accounts of the employees on the same day.
It has also directed the concerned to appoint a special dealing hand who will be a track of all the matters with regard to the timely disbursal of the salaries to the employees across Kashmir.
“A special dealing hand may be deputed to the concerned CP&AO/PAO office who will keep a liaison and ensure that once the credit advice by the concerned CP&AO/PAO is forwarded to the concerned bank branch, the same dealing hand will communicate with his respective office and ensure their bank advice to their bank on the same day to avoid any inordinate/ unnecessary delay,” CAO said.
