JAMMU, Jan 12: The Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department of All India Congress Committee held a meeting here today with all State Chairmen of the Legal, Human Right and RTI Department of respective Pradesh Congress Committees at party headquarters, New Delhi.
The meeting was headed by National Chairman of Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department, Vivek Tankha (MP) and was administered by the National Secretary Legal, Human Rights & RTI Department AICC, Vipul Maheahwari.
It was attended by Ahmad Patel MP, Abhishek Manu Singhvi MP and Chairmen of different States across the country. All the State Chairmen submitted the work report to the department.
In the meeting Tankha asked all the Chairmen to prepare and submit the action plan for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 and stressed that lawyers are the opinion makers of the society and should play the vital role in opinion making against the present government.
Vipul Maheshwari in his address stressed to complete the organizational structure and get ready for the combat role in the major fight against the alleged fascist Government in coming general elections.
