Banking is the heart and soul of every economy, and it is one sector that will never go out of style. While the global economy may be going through turmoil, the banking sector in India is a highly competitive and rapidly growing space.
Golden Opportunity for the youth of J&K. J&K BANK has notified for the recruitment of RELATIONSIP EXECUTIVES [RE].Last Exam for J& K Bank R-E was held in 2012 and around 1200 persons were recruited.This time it is expected that around 1000 vacancies will be there. The youth of Jammu and Kashmir were eagerly waiting for this job opportunity as it provides job-security and respect in society. All graduates with 55% and postgraduates with 50% marks of 18 to 30 years of age upto 31-03-2015 are eligible. Last date of application is 16th April.
In 2012 the exam pattern was notified by the Bank. It was divided into 3 Sections, i.e. Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions), Logical Reasoning (75 Questions)and Verbal Ability (50 Questions).The duration of the Exam was 2 hours. Eachquestion was of 1 mark each and there was negative marking of 0.25 marks.
The break-up of the 50 questions with 50 marksof the Quant section comprised 20 on Data Interpretation, 15 on Arithmetic,5 on Number series,5 on Quadratic Equations, and 5 on Data Sufficiency.
In the Reasoning section there were 75 Questions with 75 marks. Non-verbal questions were conspicuous by their absence. Its questions were divided as 5 on Deductions, 5 onData Sufficiency, 5 on Input/output, 5 on Decision Making and 15, both in Puzzles and Other topics.
English section with 50 questions and 50 marks was dominated by Reading Comprehensions comprising 20 questions in total. 10 questions were on Cloze test and % questions were from the rest of the important topics such as sentence correction, paragraph jumbles, spot the error etc.
At the end of the Exam the Question paper was taken back, hence this break-up and analysis is memory based.
Despite the Exam was easy to moderate many candidates complained about low attempts due tomis-management of Time, as the exam pattern was quite lengthy.
