NC distributes blankets at Shelter Home

JAMMU, Jan 28: J&K National Conference Central Zone organized a programme at Rehan Basera Shelter, Bahu Fort wherein essential items including blankets and woolen clothes were distributed among the inmates.
Former Minister and JKNC Additional General Secretary Ajay Sadhotra was the chief guest whereas former Minister & JKNC Central Zone President Babu Rampaul presided over. JKNC Provincial Joint Secretary Ankush Abrol was the guest of honour. Chander Mohan Sharma, Raghubir Singh Manhas, Ayub Malik, BD Dalotra were the special guests.
The programme was organised by Secretary Central Zone JKNC & Coordinator Jammu District Urban, Dr Vikas Sharma. Ajay Sadhotra emphasized on the need to extend all sorts of help to the poor and needy people. He said, “National Conference believes in the philosophy of equality. Party always work for upliftment of poor people and devise policies for uplifting their living standard. Land to tiller was made possible during the rule of NC and many more such schemes were initiated by the NC Government during its rule.”
He however expressed dismay over the anti-poor stance of the present dispensation which has made their lives miserable by stopping pensions to the poor, introducing smart electricity meters and many other such acts. He urged the NC cadre to organize many such events to help the needy people.
Babu Rampaul also lambasted the present dispensation for inflicting sufferings on the poor and deprived classes and demanded such steps should be taken which would ease the living of poor masses. He also appreciated the NC leaders who took the initiative of helping the inmates of Shelter Home, and reiterated the resolve of his party to help all the people in need. Among those who were present on this occasion includes Kuldeep Khajuria Senior Leader NC, Arunpal Singh Working President JKNCSU, Ravi Gupta, Baldev Raj, Ram Singh, Omar Farooq, Manohar Lal, Bhadur Lal, Sagar Paharia, Ramesh Lal, Lal Chand, Vikas, Faiyaz, Saqib Kichloo, and others.
