KATHUA, Apr 22: All presidents and councillors of Municipalities of Jammu Province in a meeting elected its provincial body. Naresh Sharma, president Municipality Kathua was elected as provincial president, Mumtaz Ahmed Bajjar of Surankote Municipality was elected as vice president, Shakeel Ahmed Mir, of Thanamandi as general secretary and Vijay Suri of Kalakote as office secretary. Those who were elected for different posts complimented all the presidents and councillors of different Municipalities for reposing faith in them for shouldering the responsibilities. Naresh Kumar Sharma and Mumtaz Bajjard assured the presidents and councillors that they would care for the entire fraternity and put forth the demands of public before the Government.
The Association also met Dheeraj Gupta, Commissioner, Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department who assured the Presidents full cooperation.
