REASI, Oct 5: Members of Press Club Katra today sat on protest at Fawara Chowk Katra.
Journalists sitting on the protest said that during a meeting of businessmen and others at Katra, a person used abusive words for journalists, which is highly condemnable.
Members of the Press Club Katra said that they will continue their protest till the person tenders apology.
The protesting journalists said that they raise issues of people under adverse conditions and treating them in such a way will not be tolerated.
Press Club Reasi also came in support of Press Club Katra members and its President Raju Dogra said that being the fourth pillar of the society it should be respected as journalists work under extreme pressure and difficult situations.
