REASI, Jan 2: Security forces today recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted inside a pressure cooker from the forest area of Mahore in this district.
Acting on reliable information, a joint team of SOG Sarh and 58RR of the Army launched a search operation in general forest area of Angralla Bhalla falling within the jurisdiction of Police Station Mahore around 1330 hours, said a police official.
During the search operation, an IED planted inside a pressure cooker was recovered, he said.
After the recovery, police have launched investigation into the matter, he added.
