JAMMU, Aug 2: Prisons Retired Employees Welfare Association (PREWA) has expressed concern over the denial of appointment to their deputation to meet the DGP Prisons for the last over a year.
In a handout Krishan Singh, PREWA president said that the Association is demanding revision of welfare fund rules on police pattern and for setting up welfare board for retired prison personnel as envisaged in jail manual.
He also said that retired prison personnel have been deprived of welfare measures and they continue to be governed by outdated welfare rules.
