AKHNOOR, Feb 17: A public meeting was organised by Akhnoor police in police station Gharota today. Representatives from Panchayati Raj Institutions of 22 Panchayats and two Blocks and prominent persons participated. Participants put forth their grievances which were patiently listened by SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma and SHO Gharota Joginder Chib.
The SDPO assured speedy redressal of issues pertaining to police and sharing of other issues to concerned departments.
Sharma appealed to participants for more inclusive approach for sharing informations with police and tell them to become extended support of police.
The SHO thanked the participants.
