Price of commodities increased in BJP rule: Congress

JAMMU, Mar 30: Congress leader, Jai Singh here today chaired a meeting of party activists of Ward numbers 69, 70 and 74 at Chowadi and highlighted the policies of Congress.
He asked the party activists to appealed public to vote for Raman Bhalla, Congress candidate from Jammu-Poonch Constituency.
“BJP has failed in providing basic amenities to the people of India. The cost of LP gas cylinder which was Rs 400 during UPA rule is now hiked to Rs 900 during NDA rule,” Singh said.
He further said that roads have not been well developed by the BJP led government and terrorism has also increased.
“Petrol and diesel prices have also increased. The prise of vegetables, fruits and other commodities is also increasing,” Singh maintained.
Prominent among those who were present there on the occasion were Bhisham Singh Raju, Arun Singh, District Congress General Secretary; Raghunandan Singh Raghu, Thoru Ram, Thoru Ram Sharma, Vidyasagar, Rahul Singh and Abhay Pratap Singh.
