Price rise over-burdens poor, middle class families: Manjit Singh

JAMMU, Apr 25: Apni Party Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh today said price rise of essential commodities has over-burdened the poor and middle class families in Jammu and Kashmir.
Manjit Singh was speaking at a joining programme which was organized by senior leader women wing Pavneet Kour, Rupali Rani and District President Jammu Women Wing, Sarabjeet Kour.
He said that the party leaders and workers should make the people aware about the party’s agenda and policy.
“Party is committed for the upliftment of the weaker section and marginalized section of society without discrimination and give them equal political empowerment so that they can work for their upliftment,” he said.
He was referring to the cost escalation of essential commodities in J&K which has adversely affected the poor and middle class families. In these circumstances, he said that the people have been affected badly as the source earning have reduced following covid spread and lockdown.
He said that the women have been affected badly due to the increase in price rise of mustard oil, vegetables and other edible goods.
He appealed that the Government must look into the growing financial issues of the general masses and to help them to come out of the financial crises.
