NEW DELHI, May 24: Steady conditions prevailed on the wholesale pulses market today as most of pulses prices moved in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said adequate stocks against sporadic demand mainly kept pulses at previous levels.
Following are today’s pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 5,200-5,700, Urad Chilka (local) 6,400-6,600, best 6,650-7,250, Dhoya 6,900-7,300, Moong 6,100-7,400, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,200-7,700, Moong Dhoya local 7,100-7,400 and best quality 7,900-8,000.
Masoor small 5,300-5,500, bold 5,300-5,600, Dal Masoor local 6,100-6,200, best quality 6,200-6,300, Malka local 5,700-6,000, best 5,900-6,000, Moth 4,700-5,100, Arhar 4,650-4,750, Dal Arhar Dara 6,200-6,400.
Gram 2,850-3,550, Gram Dal (local) 3,600-3,800, best quality 3,700-3,800, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,430, Rajdhani 1,430, Rajmah Chitra 6,500-9,500,Kabli Gram small 3,900-6,500, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,200-5,800, Peas white 2,950-3,000 and green 3,000-3,100. (PTI)
