Prices remain flat in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Nov 19:  There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market today as prices by and large moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said negligible demand in the spot market due to crash crunch following the government banning Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes, mainly kept prices unaltered.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 7,200-8,200, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 7,500-7,600, Urad best Rs 7,600-8,100, Dhoya Rs 8,000-8,300, Moong Rs 5,200-5,700, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,700-5,900, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,300-6,800 and best quality Rs 6,800-7,000.
Masoor small Rs 5,300-5,400, bold Rs 5,350-5,450, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,750-6,250, best quality Rs 5,850-6,350, Malka local Rs 6,300-6,500, best Rs 6,400-6,600, Moth Rs 4,200-4,500, Arhar Rs 6,300, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 8,200-10,000.
