NEW DELHI, Sept 8: Quiet conditions persisted on the wholesale steel market today as prices continued to move in a tight range in the absence of buying support and settled around previous levels.
Traders said lack of buying support due to slowdown in constructions activity due to adverse weather mainly kept steel prices unaltered.
The following are today’s quotations per tonne:
CTD saria (Kamdhenu): 8-mm 48,300, 10-mm 46,500, 12 -mm 45,400, 16-25 mm 46,000.
Saria Jai Bharat (TMT): 8-mm 45,400, 10 mm 45,100, 12-mm 44,400, 16-25 mm 44,700.
Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 47,300, 10-mm 46,000, 12-mm 45,000, 16-25 mm 45,500.
MS Angle: (50×5) (50×6) 44,700, (40×5) (40×6) 33,500.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40×6) 43,800, (35X5) (65X6) 33,900. Girder 125X65 RS 39,300. (PTI)
