RAJOURI, Jan 2: A priest was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his rented accommodation at Ward number 7, Rajouri.
“The deceased was identified as Pawan Kumar son of Thandu Ram, resident of Santani (Udhampur),”police sources said, adding, he was found dead today at about 3 PM in a rented room in the house of Sagar Sharma son of Permanand, resident of Ward number 7, Rajouri.
Sources said the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College Rajouri for postmortem while police post City Rajouri had taken cognizance of the matter. They said that the deceased was a Hindu priest by profession.
