JAMMU, May 29: A primary School branch of KB Public School under the aegis of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust was inaugurated by the chief guest, Haji Bashir Ahmed in the presence of Dr Masud A Choudhary, former Vice Chancellor BGSBU/ADGP (Rtd.) and Col (Rtd.) Som Nath, Sarpanch Halqa Panchayat Mandal at Gusain Chak Rambagh Kulian, here today.
A large number of locals, children and trustees including Advocate Shah Mohd Chowdhary (Chairman GDCT), Hamid Hussain (Vice-Chairman/ treasurer), Ch M S Chouhan (General Secretary), Shouket Javed, Mohd Yousuf Khepar, Advocate Jameel Choudhary (Youth wing president), Madam Nighat Sultana (Director KBPS) and many others were present during the inaugural ceremony of the School along with KB Public School Principal and staff members.
Dr Masud A Choudhary (Baba e Quam) founder of GDCT and founder VC of BGSBU Rajouri stressed upon the inhabitants of the area who mostly belong to nomadic tribal communities to get the full benefit of the School and educate their children.
Chairman GDCT assured that the School will provide quality education to the nomadic children and appreciated the dedication and hard work done by Ch Hamid Hussain and Ch Mohammad Yousuf Khepar, trustee in repairing and renovating the School.
Col (Rtd) Som Nath (Sarpanch) assured the management of GDCT and KBPS that he will fully support this mission to provide quality education to the downtrodden children of the area.
