JAMMU, Mar 16: The SPS Police Training School, Kathua took out route march which was flagged off by SP, Arun Gupta, Principal of Police Training School Kathua. In the route march more than 1000 police trainees and police men participated and it covered nearly 20 km of area. It started from Police Training School, Kathua to Nagari and backed to Training School.
The police trainees in full dress with arms in disciplinary manner were the mark of attraction for passerby. The Principal of APTS, SP, Arun Gupta said that the route march of Jawans is regular exercise to make the police force flexible and strong. It will also built the confidence of society in security matters and make police jawans familiar with civil society. He added that route march was taken out as a part of Confidence Building Measure taken from time to time in Police Department in coordination with Rural Traffic Department, CRPF, JKP , Health Department and staff of Police Training School Kathua.
