JAMMU, Mar 4: Principal, Indira Gandhi Government Dental College (IGGDC) Jammu Dr Rakesh Krishan Gupta has been nominated as first Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences (FDS) for remaining triennial period 2021-2024 with effect from 03-03-2023.
This is for the first time that the Dental Sciences has been taken as independent entity by Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu in 87th University Council Resolution dated 21-01-2023 issued under endorsement number F.Acd/II23/12388-12467 dated 03-03-2023 by creating Dean of Dental Sciences. Accordingly, Principal IGGDC Jammu has been nominated as first Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences.
In addition, the Faculty of Dental Sciences, IGGDC Jammu and Institute of Dental Sciences Sehora (Jammu) have also been created and notified.
