Principal Secy Alok Kumar launches Alka Sharma’s Hindi book

JAMMU, Apr 10: Principal Secretary, Department of School Education, J&K UT, Alok Kumar today launched a book in Hindi, entitled ‘Nadiya Rani’, written by Alka Sharma, a teacher, posted at Govt Middle School Alora Satwari.
A collection of 60 short stories for children, the book ‘Nadiya Rani’ covers all the essential topics useful for the moral and social development of the children. All the stories allure the readers with the hues of childhood innocence.
The book contains the moral lessons and informative facts for the children and is bedecked with the vivid and vibrant imagery. Varied themes have been chosen by the writer, which are supported by the pictures.
Principal Secretary lauded the efforts and literary skills of Alka Sharma who has three books to her credit viz, Aakankshayen, Chanda Mama and Nadiya Rani. Besides, she is the co-author of six books `Haaiku Sindhu’, `Kalam Chalne Do-9′, `Baal Potli’, `Gyaan Gullak’, `Bhartiya Nritya: Nartkon Ki Pehchan’ and Sanatan Dharam. Alka has a wide range of publications in the newspapers and literary magazines. Principal Secretary and all the other dignitaries wished the writer good luck in her future endeavours. Anjana Khajuria presented the vote of thanks.
